Event center is located near the city of Oulu where plenty of hotels are available.
The start lines locate just outside the athletic stadium of Oulu. Courses are scenic, flat and fast. Marathon runners run the half marathon course twice. The finish line is located at the stadium.
Race expo and office
The race expo and office locate indoors of athletic stadium. Address: Raatintie 2, 90100 Oulu, Finland. Opening hours: Fri 10-19, Sat 9-18.
Participants will pick up their material (number bib/timing chip, etc) at the office either on Friday or Saturday. Material has to be picked up on Saturday, May 26th, by 11:00 the latest. The race number should be pinned to the front of your shirt so that it is clearly visible. Timing chip is attached to the race number.
Storage locates in stadium and is open on race day between 10:00-18:00. Storage is managed by security staff.
Water, sports drink, bananas, etc. are served at every 3-4 km. Stations are marked with numbered "jug"-signs in route map.
If you have personal refreshments, please place them to the correct moving boxes located at stadium by 10:45, this service only for marathon and half marathon runners. Be sure that your drinks includes your race number, number of the station and km information.

All runners who cross the finish line will receive a medal.
There is also a lottery where all participants can win extra prizes. Lottery winning lists will be published at the information desk by 2 PM.
Top-5 finishers in open divisions and top-3 in each age group will receive their prizes at stadium, the preliminary award ceremony schedule: 10km at 12:30, half marathon at 14:00 and marathon at 16:00.
New marathon race record bonus is 300 euros.
